PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a conventional problem that there is a case where the inner section of multicore superconducting wire material is damaged in a producing step of the multicore superconducting wire material, and to provide multicore superconducting wire material having no damage.SOLUTION: There is provided multicore superconducting wire material in which several single core superconducting wire material is bundled, which comprises a core part made of MgB, a barrier phase positioned on periphery of the core part, a stabilizing phase positioned on periphery of the barrier phase. A hard metal part made of metal harder than metal of the stabilizing phase is provided between adjacent single core superconducting wire materials.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
