<p>PURPOSE:To shorten the time for scanning by furnishing a cartridge holding member having two stand-by addresses for a rotary drum with an accommodation room provided at its periphery in such a way as movable vertically and rotatably. CONSTITUTION:When a cartridge takeout command is given, a hoist 31 elevates or sinks to the specific cartridge accommodation position of drums 21-26, which rotate so that a cartridge accommodation room comes up to the position with possibility of holding. When specified cartridge 11 fronts to the hoist 31, a slide mechanism 32 advances to the drum side, and a holder member 34 holds the cartridge 11 to return to the original position. Then the hoist 31 is elevated or sunk till engagement with a cartridge hand-over mechanism 40, and the used cartridge therein is received by a slide mechanism 33 as well as the cartridge 11 in the above-mentioned slide mechanism 32 is handed over. This arrangement well assures high speed taking-out and accommodation of cartridges.</p> |
