<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a moisture-sensitive resistor having good resilience by using the resulting product of reaction between a polymer having a group of sulfonate and an epoxy group at the side chain and a multifunctional compd. having the functional group reacting with the epoxy group. CONSTITUTION:A polystyrene having, for example, 1500 average degree of polymn. is sulfonated to incorporate a sulfonate group therein and is then graft- polymerized to incorporate glycidyl methacrylate therein. Such modified polystyrene and trimellitic acid are dissolved in water and thereafter the soln. is cast on a stainless steel plate and is heated to obtain a film. The film is immersed in an aq. soln. of ferric chloride to obtain a moisture-sensitive film. Electrodes are attached to such film, by which a moisture sensor is prepd.</p> |
