PURPOSE:To eliminate the trouble such as making a memorandum one by one by providing a storage area corresponding to each cassette tape and storing a recording end position of sides A and B to each storage area and calculating residual recording possible time by means of a specific equation. CONSTITUTION:A processing device 107a of a microcomputer 107 executes data receiving/giving procession with an operating panel and the arithmetic procession of the residual recording possible time of a cassette tape. That is, when the processing device 107a processes the operation of L=2pim[(r+t/2)] [wherein; (m) is total amount of revolution of hub shaft from rewinding position at the recording end position, (r) is hub radius and (t) is thickness] when a residual recording possible time display button 109q on the operating panel is depressed, obtains the length L (tape running length) of a tape wound on a winding hub, and then operates the residual recording possible time R of the cassette tape by the equation R=[(Lm-L)/Lm]Rm (wherein; Lm is maximum tape length on one side and Rm is maximum recording possible time of one side). |
