PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent heat resistance and moldability, by adding a phenol phosphite antioxidant to a specified arom. polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:0.01-0.40pts.wt. antioxidant which is an ester derived from a phenol compd. having at least two phenolic hydroxyl groups and a phosphite compd., is added to 100pts.wt. arom. polyester having a logarithmic viscosity number of 0.2-2.0 and contg. a structural unit (A) of formula I (wherein the carbonyl groups are located at positions meta or para with respect to each other), a structural unit (B) of formula II (wherein O is located at poition meta- or para against SO2) and a structural unit (C) of formula III (wherein O is located at position meta or paral against X) in a A to B ratio of 1:0.36-1.06, a ratio of the number of A units to the number of B units of 1: 0.04-0.66 and a ratio of the number of A into to the number of (B units + C units) of 1:0.90-1.10.
