PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in transmission quality due to overloading by compressing a sound level with a specific coefficient in a power-line carrier device. CONSTITUTION:The level of an input sound signal supplied from a terminal 24 is compressed to 1/r by a compressing circuit 5, whose compression output is limited to within a specific range by an instantaneous limiter circuit 6. Consequently, the channel of the power-line carrier device and other channels are prevented from deteriorating in transmission quality owing to the overload on the transmitting amplifier of the device. |
