PURPOSE:To reduce the consumption of electric power in a luminous device without lowering of label feeding accuracy by setting up the luminous period of the luminous device to a time taken to send label in a minimum amount or to one over several number of the time. CONSTITUTION:A pulse motor is driven by pulse PD of period T1. Since a base paper is sent every one of pulse PD, the period T1 becomes a time taken to send label in a minimum amount. The period of pulse P generated in a pulse generating circuit 14 is taken to be T2. The reason that the oscillating period T2 is smaller than the period T1 is in that a dispersion of timing of the front edge detection of label by a label detector 10 is within the range of minimum sending of label. The printing position can be determined and sending and stopping positions can be also determined exactly. |
