The invention relates to a firing plant for heating systems, with at least two combustion spaces, with in each case at least one flue gas outlet for each combustion space, and also with at least one burner for gaseous and/or liquid fuels fitted in one of the combustion spaces, the burner having a flame head with at least one outlet opening or outlet nozzle. It is characterised by an auxiliary space surrounding the flame head, open to the one combustion space via at least one opening, and connected via a connecting pipe to the flue gas outlet of another combustion space. <IMAGE>
