PURPOSE:To save the labor of a clerk and to load the notes as the payment notes after a close inspection, by taking the notes to be inspected close out of a note store part by a sheet and detecting those notes at a note confirmation part to store them at an empty note store part for close inspection. CONSTITUTION:A cashbox cassette 19 which stores notes for collection is made empty by removing notes if any in it. Then the notes are taken and counted out of a 1,000-yen not store part 22 until the capacity of a temporary store part 35 of the cassette 19 reaches its limit. This counting is carried out by a thickness detector 150 provided between a 1,000-yen note extraction part and a collected note store part 35. A separator mechanism 31 is actuated when the capacity of the part 35 reaches its limit, and the part 35 is made empty for storage. The same operation is carried out until no note exists within the part 22. This operation is also carried out for 10,000-yen notes to finish an automatic close inspection of digits. |
