PURPOSE:To detect the position and attitude of a body at a high speed and to make the configuration compact and light weight, by rotating cross shaped two slit light sources by 45 deg. around an optical axis so as to obtain the slant cross shape, and detecting and analyzing two light cutting lines by one TV camera. CONSTITUTION:Two slit light sources 1a and 1b, which are crossed to each other at a right angle, are switched. The light from each light source is projected on an object body. The light cutting line of the object body is photographed by one TV camera 2, which is located at the position on a plane that bisects the angle 90 deg. formed by the two slit light beams 3a and 3b into two equal parts, and is not located on the intersecting line of both slit light beams. The correlation between the light cutting line detected in this way and the actual position of the body is obtained by using a model whose size is known in advance, with said position being changed. The result is stored in a memory device. The actual position and the slant of the body can be obtained by the verification with the correlation thereof. |
