PURPOSE:To enable to effectively cool a rotor conductor by adjusting the thermal capacity of the conductor and an end ring and inclining the end of the conductor. CONSTITUTION:An end ring 4 is formed with a thick part 4b which is made to approach to a core 2 via a step 4a formed on the inner periphery and a thin part 4c isolated from the core 2, and inclined to increase the bore as the inner peripheries of the thick and thin parts 4b, 4c are isolated from the core 2. The part 3a which is extended to the side from the end ring 4 of the rotor conductor 3 is inclined oppositely to the rotating direction designated by an arrow A. When thus constructed, the difference of thermal capacities of the conductor 3 and the ring 4 can be reduced, cooling air designated by an arrow B is generated by fan operation of the inclined part 3a of the end of the conductor 3, thereby dissipating the heat generated at the conductor 3. |
