PURPOSE:To prevent an external noise current from flowing into a photoelectric converting circuit, by connecting an inner ferrule so that it becomes the same potential as an earth of the photoelectric converting circuit. CONSTITUTION:A receptacle 4 of a connector 11 consists of plastic, and plural photodetector holding projections 4A are provided projectingly on its bottom face. A window 2 of size through which even the photodetector holding projection 4A can pass is provided on a metallic case of a converter. A metallic shielding plate 16 is interposed between the receptacle 4 and the metallic case 1 of the converter. A hole 16A is made in the center of the shielding plate 16, a long hole 16B for making the photodetector holding projection 4A pass through is made on its circumference, and also a fitting hole 16C is made on four corners. An inner ferrule 9 which is formed by a metal or at least by conductive plastic as to its inside circumferential side contacts electrically with the metallic case 1 through the shielding plate 16, and is made the same potential as an earth of a photoelectric converting circuit 13 in this case 1. |
