What is proposed is an agitator device for liquid manure or the like, especially with an electric drive, which has the purpose of converting the content of liquid-manure pits into a pumpable consistency. So that the device can also be operated in low, narrow and angled passageways of cattle stalls and without the use of lifting appliances, front loaders or the like, the propeller shaft has been designed as a collapsible and/or separable propeller shaft. The device can thereby be handled in the most confined space and does not have to be raised, in particular not even for introduction through a pit aperture. With conventional rigid devices, it is often completely impossible to work at particular pits.
