PURPOSE:To reduce the fluctuation of steel-band tension, and to easily store a loop of continuous steel-band treating line, by controlling the speed of a looper independently and improving the follow-up performance at the time of starting the looper. CONSTITUTION:The starting torque, having many fluctuation factors caused at the time immediately after starting loop-cars 4, is supplied by a speed controlling system, which uses as a minus loop, a current controlling system consisting of a loop-car driving motor 5, a variable voltage power source 6, a current detector 8, and a current-controlling amplifier 7. Further, at the time of normal acceleration capable of obtaining required torque comparatively accurately, the required torque is supplied by the current set by a compensating current standard 11 to maintain the tension of steel-band at the set value even during the acceleration. Further, because of the provided speed controlling system, the speed required at the time of independent running or steel-band passing is controlled without providing any special changeover circuit. |
