PURPOSE:To prevent both cans from being relatively moved in the axial direction by providing a stopper between the rising section of a negative electrode can and the contact surface of a positive electrode can with a cylinder section in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A negative electrode active material 9, a separator 11, and a positive electrode material 10 are inserted into a negative electrode can 7, and a positive electrode can 8 is shrink fit or press fit for assembly, than the tip of the cylinder section 8b of the positive electrode can 8 is deformed inward, and a bent section 8c is coupled with a groove 7e so as to form a stopper A made with the groove 7e and the bent section 8c, thus the relative movement of both positive and negative electrode cans in the axial direction can be completely prevented even if the can internal pressure is increased due to the chemical reaction between positive and negative active materials. |
