PURPOSE:To prevent the radiant heat from the inside of a heating furnace to a flue and to control furnace pressure by providing a partition wall which is adjustable of openings, etc. in the evacuating port of the flue of the furnace. CONSTITUTION:A stationary partition wall 3 and a partition wall 2 which is movable along the opening surface of a flue port are installed in front of the evacuating port of the flue 9 of a furnace body 1. The opening of a damper 8 for controlling furnace pressure installed in the flue 9 is substantially fully opened. Thereafter, the furnace pressure is detected with a detector 4, and the stroke of the wall 2 is fixed in the positin where the difference between the set furnace pressure and the detected value is minimized. The remining micro difference is controlled with the damper 8. Thus the radiation from the inside of the furnace to the flue is prevented and a shielding effect is obtained with good efficiency within the control range for the furnace pressure. |
