The interchangeable sole adheres to the base of a sock and is useful for indoor wear and washing. One of its surfaces has small loops or hooks for engaging onto the fibres of the sock. Around the sole is a continuous rim on which are straps for retaining to the sock. The sole is made out of two separate parts, an upper and a lower.
