PURPOSE:To facilitate and secure matching of a printing position of a printing paper, by a method wherein a printing paper is fed initially at a low speed, and the speed is gradually elevated, when matching the printing position of the printing paper. CONSTITUTION:A manual paper-feeding signal generating circuit 1 is a circuit for generating a paper-feeding signal by a manual operation, and usually comprises a manually operated switch and a chattering-preventing circuit. The paper-feeding signal is generated by the circuit 1 in the period for which the manual operation is continued. The paper-feeding signal generated is supplied to a paper-feeding command circuit 3 and a paper-feeding speed controlling circuit 2 through a connecting line 13. The command circuit 3 receives the paper-feeding signals through the connecting line 13 and a connecting line 14, and sends a paper-feeding command signal to a paper-feeding mechanism 4 through a connecting line 16, while referring to a printer condition signal which is inputted through a connecting line and indicates that the printer is in such a condition as to permit the paper to be fed. |
