PURPOSE:To simplify testing procedures, and to shorten a testing time, by simultaneously executing write, read-out and erase of a data. CONSTITUTION:Write of a data to some address, collation of a read-out data from some address and an expected value, and the number of words of EPROM are denoted as (a), (b) and (n), respectively. Subsequently, a series of write and read-out tests of 1a through nb are repeated, irradiating ultraviolet rays. In this case, intensity of the ultraviolet rays are adjusted so that the time required for a series of tests of 1a through nb coincides with the time required for erasing a data. In this way, an address is selected, a prescribed data is written, and after that, before this address is selected again, the write data is erased completely. |
