PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for gate, etc., for making maintenance thereof easier by making a slit provided in an inner tube coincide with an intake tube provided to an intake tower by turning the inner tube in a multi-hole type selective water intake device to take water from arbitrary depth of a dam. CONSTITUTION:When feeding water to a water supply tube 3, an inner tube 10 is turned by a rotary driver 9 to make a slit 11 coincide with one of plural intake tubes 5, whereupon water of a water reservoir 4 is sent through the inner tube 10 from the intake tubes 5 to the water supply tube 3. In this case, dust and rubbish in the water reservoir 4 are shut out from the intake tubes 5 by a screen 6, so that the intrusion of dust and rubbish into the inner tube 10 can be prevented. |
