<p>The lamp holder for the flashing side lamps of a motor vehicle is made up from a receptacle mfd. from a supple electrically insulating material and shaped as a solid of revolution, and a lamp socket fitted inside the receptacle so that the bulb, when fitted, appears through an opening at the end of the receptacle, over which a protective cover is fitted. The receptacle is formed as a single piece incorporating a pair of contacts each formed from a fixed conductor and a flexible conductor to accept a lamp bulb without a base and having pins projecting from the lamp envelope. The receiving contacts are crimped over the electrical supply leads.</p> |
