PURPOSE:To grind a pin electrode simply without removing a spacer by forming the cleaning device for a multi-stylus electrode head by a supporting bar pushing a tape for grinding against the inside of the long groove of the heat and the tape for grinding. CONSTITUTION:The multi-stylus electrode head 2 has the long groove (an air gap), into which a discharge electrode 9 is exposed, by the spacer 12. A guide rail 15 is set up to the head 2, and a grinder 16 is fitted to the rail. The grinder 16 consists of the supporting bar 13, the tape 14 for grinding and film supply and winding reels 17, 18, the tape 14 is pushed against the pin electrode 9 by means of the supporting bar 13 and slid in the lateral direction of the head, and the pin electrode 9 is ground. A wrapping tape, etc. obtained by applying abrasives onto a miller are preferable as the tape 14 for grinding, and forwarded so that new sections successively reach the air gap section. |
