PURPOSE:To obtain composite dies of high quality by mounting the investment of cavity parts having an arbitrary shape and a constant wall thickness at the center of die pack materials, casting molten metal and dividing the die pack materials to top and bottom parts after the casting. CONSTITUTION:Investment 1 of cavity parts having a constant wall thickness along the shape of the cavity parts is installed to the central part of die pack materials 2 and molten metal is cast therein. After the completion of the casting, the materials 2 are finished by machining, then the materials 2 are parted from the center of a parting margin 3, whereby they are bisected to a top part and a bottom part. Then the matching characteristic between the top part and the bottom part is exceedingly excellent, and there are no un-melt-stuck parts in the boundary parts between the cavity members 1 and the materials 2, and these parts are thoroughly and uniformly melt stuck. |
