PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image irregularity such as toner scattering in the case of using cardboard or transfer paper printed once. SOLUTION: The kind of the transfer paper supplied from a selected paper supply part is discriminated by a paper kind discriminating means A, and the transfer condition of a transfer means B, such as transfer voltage or transfer current, is set by a transfer condition setting means C in accordance with the kind of the discriminated transfer paper. For example, when the transfer paper fed from the paper supply part is the cardboard (whose resistance value is higher than that of plain paper) or the transfer paper printed once (whose moisture content is reduced by fixing processing at the time of printing previous time and whose resistance value gets higher), the transfer voltage or the transfer current is increased more than in the case of the plain paper. |
