PURPOSE:To reduce the time required for information processing by minimizing the transfer from a main storage device at the cashe mis-hit and performing storage into cashe in the case of storing a large amt. of data continuously. CONSTITUTION:The store request cade inputted from an interface IF 1 is held through a buffer register 20 in a request code register 30. A cashe store flag CSF, a store start flage SSF and a store end flag SEF are contained in the request code. The store start address inputted from an IF 2 is held in a request address register 31. The flag SSF and the register 31 are referred to and transfer times are decided 40 and are held in a transfer control circuit 41. The output of a cashe directory 50 and the output of the register 31 are compared 51, and when a mis-hit is detected, block transfer is requested to a main storage device not shown, via an IF 7. |
