PURPOSE:To form a photoreceptor superior in sensitivity and cycle stability, by using a hydroxypropyl cellulose resin as a binder for the charge generating layer of a laminate type electrophotographic receptor. CONSTITUTION:An electrophotographic receptor is formed by laminating an about <=3mum thick charge generating layer and a 5-30mum thick charge transfer layer composed of pyrazoline-2,4,7-trinitro-9-fluorenone or the like charge transfer material and a binder resin on a conductive substrate. This charge generating layer is composed of a mixture of 100pts.wt. charge generating material, such as Se or azo pigment, and 10-150pts.wt. hydroxypropyl cellulose as a binder. |
