PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the production of finer particles and the utilization of an active agent by a method wherein more than one rotary vane, apart from a vane for stirring fused lead, is provided in an apparatus for making a Burton type lead oxide. CONSTITUTION:Fused lead and air are introduced into a reaction pot 1 through an intake port 2 and, by turning a main stirring vane 4, a lead oxide is taken out of an exhaust port 3. An apparatus for making a Burton type lead oxide is thus constructed. (More than one of) auxiliary sturring vanes 5, 6 are provided in the reaction pot 1 of the apparatus and the auxiliary stirring vanes 5, 6 are turned in a direction the same as (vane 6) or opposite to (vane 5) the direction to which the main stirring vane 4 turns. |
