The invention relates to a double-body metering device for liquids, as used, for example, in dishwashing machines in order to introduce a precisely metered quantity of liquid detergent into the water or wash liquid at a particular programme stage. The invention achieves the object of providing a double-body metering device which is distinguished from the hitherto disclosed metering devices by a particularly simple, reliable construction and allows very accurate setting of the quantity of liquid to be metered in. According to the invention, this object is achieved by the fact that it has a first and a second body (1, 2), which are arranged opposite one another and mounted in which, displaceably, are a first and a second piston (3, 4) which act in distribution chambers into which there open a first and a second intake connection (5, 6) respectively and a first and a second delivery connection (7, 8) respectively. A cam element (9) acts on the head of these elastically loaded pistons (3, 4) and, in a fixed relationship with them, the pistons are assigned a small plate (14, 15) provided with means for setting the useful stroke of these pistons. In addition, actuatable spacing means (30, 31; 32, 33; 34, 35) are provided in order to hold the pistons in the position locked against operation at the end of the stroke, independently of one another. <IMAGE> |
