PURPOSE:To develop the regular structure of thin org. film and to advantageously utilize the film as a functional material such as an oxygen separation membrane or an oxygen occlusion body, by heat-treating the built-up film consisting of a Schiff's base metallic complex of a specified structure at a specified temp. CONSTITUTION:The built-up film consisting of the Schiff's base metallic complex shown by the formula is heat-treated at 95-200 deg.C (Y is an ester coupling, R1 and R2 are groups selected from a group consisting of 10-25 C straight-chain alkyl, alkenyl, and alkynyl, and M is a metal selected from a group consisting of iron, Co, Ni, Mn, Cr and Zn). The built-up film is generally formed by the Langmuir-Blodgett's technique wherein a monomolecular film is transferred. A regular structure can be developed in the thin org. film thus obtained, and the film can be advantageously used as the functional material such as an oxygen separation membrane and an oxygen occlusion body because of the regularity and the singularity of the structure of the formula.
|
