<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize a position detection signal by varying the reflectivity of the surfaces of the concave and convex portions of the pole teeth of a stator in a brushless linear motor. CONSTITUTION:Paint 8 is coated on the surface 4b of the respective pole teeth 4a of a stator 4, and paint 9 having different reflectivity from the paint 8 is coated on the recess surface 4c of formed between two pole teeth. Three reflection type photosensors are displaced at 120 deg. in phase with respect to each other in a non-contact position detecting block 6 provided at a movable unit 5. In this manner, a stable sinusoidal position detection signal waveform can be obtained from the reflection type photosensor.</p> |
