<p>PURPOSE:To retrieve a desired illustrative sentence and its interpreted sentence, by retrieving desired single or plural words simultaneously, and displaying in order a lot of illustrative sentences stored in advance, in case of interpreting the word and the sentence. CONSTITUTION:In case when a ''.'' key as a function key is depressed after inputting ''EKI'' (station) by operating a keyboard 7, a memory address of a foreign language word, and a memory address of an illustrative sentence related to said word are read out from a read exclusively semiconductor memory circuit 8, and are written in an RAM4. Subsequently, in case when an '' '' key is depressed, illustrative sentences corresponding to ''101'' of a data whose beta item corresponds to ''EKI'' are written in order to the RAM4 through a central controlling circuit 5 from a memory circuit 16 storing the illustrative sentence information, in according with sequence of a small number of the memory address, whenever the '' '' key is depressed, and a character-string of a decoded illustrative sentence is displayed in order on an indicator 1. When a desired illustrative sentence is displayed in said retrieval process, a corresponding English sentence is displayed on the indicator by depressing an ''En'' key.</p> |
