PURPOSE:To simplify the mechanism and to reduce the cost by permitting a single plunger to actuate an auto mechanism and set the lead-in position of a tone arm according to the size of a record. CONSTITUTION:Index plate 24 determining the position that corresponds to the size of a record and regulating member 27 coupled with plunger 26 are provided freely rotatably. Regulating member 27 is at the position for a 30cm record disk when plunger 26 is in the OFF state or for a 17cm record disk when in the ON state. For the 30cm disk, turntable shaft 1 rotates with a start signal to put plunger 26 in operation, and then starting member 15 rotates counterclockwise to move driving member 10 to right via large gear 6, etc., thereby rotating plate 24 counterclockwise through prescribed hooking. At this time, switch 32 detects the movement of 10 to turn off plunger 26, so that plate 24 will stop at the 30cm disk position. Guide plate 19 of tone arm 17 moves to the said position to start the play. For the 17cm disk, plate 24 further moves to left. |
