PURPOSE:To make formation easy and obtain the performance magnetically and electrically equivalent to that of conventional core holding bodies by making the core holding body comprising integrally joining both halves mutually opposedly by using a nonmagnetic and conductive org. material. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head 1 has a core 2 comprising integrally joing both halves 2a, 2b which consist of permalloy and are formed symmetrically, mutually opposedly, and a coil 3 is wound to this core 2. Magnetic gaps are formed respectively to the joined parts of the core 2. A core holding body 4 is provided on the outer side of the core 2 for the purpose of holding the core 2 formed in this way. The core holding body 4 consists of a nonmagnetic material, has conductivity so as to permit electrical connection between the shield case 5 and the core 2 and consists of an org. material. Hence, the magnetic head of intricate shapes is easily formed of the metallic core. |
