PURPOSE:To reduce the frictional force of transfer paper to the tip part of the lower guide, and prevent such failure as diagonal feeding of the transfer paper, by providing a cylindrical member which hits against the back of transfer paper, and can be rotated freely, close by the photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:The guide mechanism by which a transfer member such as transfer paper, etc. is guided to the surface of the photosensitive drum is constituted of an upper guide plate 1 and a lower guide plate 2, and on the tip part of the lower guide plate 2 is provided a roller member 9 which can be rotated. In this case, the transfer paper is carried along the locus P and it is bent when the tip part of the lower guide plate 2 hits against the back of the transfer paper, but since the roller member is provided on the tip of the lower guide plate 2, the frictional resistance against the transfer paper is remarkably reduced comparing with the conventional case, and such failure as diagonal feeding of the transfer paper is not caused. |
