<p>Filter elements for breathing appts. consisting of filter paper with parallel zigzag folds, have a coating of a thermosetting material along the narrow sides, i.e. those with the open folds, produced either by dipping or by brushing. A clamping device then deforms the rectangle to an elliptic shape which is inserted into an elliptic casing. A solidifying liq. ensures the seal between filter and casing. Assembly of filter elements is simplified.</p> |
