CONSTITUTION:The current supply to the induction motors 10, 10' for driving press or the like having flywheels 8, 8' and intermittently operated is controlled by computing the data inputted beforehand and calculating and comparing the load current as the feedback signal of the induction motors 10, 10' and the number of revolution of the flywheels 8, 8'. Thus, the wasteful power supply to the motors 10, 10' is deleted to improve the average power factor and efficiency of the motors in total time. For example, the circuits shown is configured, data from the inpyt/output device 1, CT15, 15', sensors 6, 6' are inputted to the arithmetic unit 3, which thus calculates them to control the thyristor of the power drive units 12, 12' through phase control units 11, 11' so as to control the motors 10, 10'.
