The rotation regulator uses a rotor (1) coupled to the drive shaft, carrying a reflector (2) for directing a sampling beam received from a source (3) angled below the rotor (1) onto a photoelement (7) via a light guide (6), in line with the reflector (2). The photoelement (7) provides pulses at a frequency corresponding to the rotation of the rotor (1) to a comparator (9) which is also coupled to a reference generator (8). An opto-electronic transmission system provides a setting value for adjusting the rotation rate of the motor (17) in dependence on the comparator output. Pref. both the photoelement (14) for the transmission system and that for the deflected sampling beam comprises a photodiode. |
