PURPOSE:To prevent a reproduced screen from moving vertically while a magnetic tape is not running steadily by shifting a clear signal in phase when a digital memory for correcting time axis variation such as the jitters is read by a jump signal. CONSTITUTION:From magnetic tape 11, a video signal is picked up by video reproducing head 12 fitted to a rotary head and after it is passed through equalizing circuit 14 and demodulated by demodulating circuit 15, a time error is corrected. Displacement controller 16, on the other hand, generates various jump signals 18- 20 from information on the run speed of magnetic tape 11 and applies them to read clock generating circuit 32 through control circuit 34. Then, read clock generating circuit 32 is controlled by jump signals 18-20 to shift a clear signal in phase when digital memory 22 is read. |
