Electrical generator stator mounting system - has stator held by conical pin against pressure seat

The fitting system involves pressing through a conical pin to hold the stator in the required position in the generator housing, in cooperation with a pressure seat. The stator has the same outer dia. as that of the conical pin to allow it to be directly inserted in the generator housing by application of a reduced pressure. The elasticity of the housing material is utilised to maintain the stator in position relative to the pressure seat. Pref. the generator housing is formed from a drawn aluminium alloy profile.
