PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a repellent for small animals for pets such as a cat having excellent repellent effects of natural materials in place of chemical synthetic products and further excellent economical efficiency and in vivo safety. SOLUTION: This repellent for the small animals is characterized in that the repellent comprises (i) a seed and/or a powder or an extract of a rhizome of Alpinia galanga of the family Zingiberaceae and (ii) Camphor in the repellent for the small animals.
