PURPOSE:To make it possible to diagnose a fault of a control circuit system easily and rapidly with high precision by providing a modulator which modulates a detection signal by a modulated signal with a discrimination waveform for a fault diagnosis. CONSTITUTION:Wheel speed detector 1 sends wheel speed signal Vw to a control circuit through modulator 2. On diagnosis a fault of a control circuit system, control signal oscillator 8 generates modulated signal A by oscillating and modulator 2 modulates signal Vw on the basis of this signal A. Circuit 3 generates and sends a pair of control signals C and D to actuators 6 and 7. Signal A of oscillator 8 is sent to terminal (c) of J-KFF10 through inverter 9 to generate signal E from terminal (q) of FF10. Then, on OR circuit receives signals C-E to output discrimination waveform signal F. This signal F is sent to alarm unit 14 through filter circuit 13. As a result, once some fault occurs to the control circuit system, an alarm is given by alarm unit 14, so that the fault can immediately be noticed. |
