PURPOSE:To omit the organic solvent as well as increase the working safety by using the solid state penetrant and cleaner and then fusing these agents with the heat of the tested body itself in order to secure penetration of them into the flaw for the test performance. CONSTITUTION:The penetrant and cleaner are produced at the normal temperature by mixing one or two kinds among the fat, fatty acid, higher alcohol, synthetic wax, wax, fatty acid amide and surface active agent each. Such solid state penetrant is coated to the test face on the surface of the test subject and then fused by the heat of the test subject itself to be penetrated into the open flaw. After removing the extra penetrant, the solid state cleaner is applied and then washed away. And then the develper is coated evenly for developement to be observed. In such way, no organic solvent is required for the penetrating and cleaning processes, securing the safe working. |
