<p>The carpet cleaning process, using a foam applicator, is carried out in two working steps. In the first one, pressure air from a blower, included into the foam cleaner is supplied into cleaning liquid which can be foamed. The foamed liquid is supplied to a brush roller, driven by the blower motor, which provides the cleaning action over the carpet. The suction channel of the brush roller chamber, connected to the suction side of the blower, is closed by a change-over device during the application of the cleaning foam. Simultaneously, a suction port outside the brush roller chamber, is freed. In the second working step, the cleaning foam applied to the carpet is sucked away and fed into a retaining container. During this step the suction channel is opened by the change-over device and the suction port is closed. For thorough exhausting of the applied cleaning foam, the container of the cleaning liquid is filled with an appropriate rinsing liquid, which is then supplied to the brush roller for application to the carpet.</p> |
