PURPOSE:To enable transmission to the data transmission unit in the signal format suitable to the input to the data transmission unit, by providing the interface section to accomodate the data transmission unit and the buffer memory section tentatively storing the data. CONSTITUTION:The network managing function module NMM13 performs the collection and processing of required information for the network management in the packet exchange network PSN1, executes the network control at failure and performs the line connection, cut-off control anc control of call in PSN. The packet exchange module PSM14 performs the packet exchange processing in the network. The interface 16 is to accomodate the data transmission unit DTE, and by using the intelligent packet exchange processor, CS-DTE (DTE having the interface to CSN) as well as PS-DTE (DTE having the interface to PSN) can be connected. |
