The covering batten is for pipes laid along a wall close to the ground, with holders fastened to the wall, fitted with two hook attachments engaged by hooked lugs on the rear of the batten. The batten ends are resilient sealing strips. The two hook pieces (4) on the holders (2) face the ground (3), and have a sloping face for the lugs (5) on the batten (6) which have a parallel fitting surface. They engage wedge gaps (10) formed by these fitting surfaces and the inside of the batten, with room for play.
