<p>The silo is for fine granular material, partic. filling material used when mining or tunnelling. The silo has an outlet via sloping bottom walls enclosed by one of their lower edges, running in the lengthwise direction. Above the outlet is a shutter with one or more double flaps on a lengthwise hinge, about which they pivot, working in guide forks bringing their lengthwise edges against the sloping walls, to form seals. A thrust rod is coupled to the hinge pin.</p> |
