Threading needle for insertion of threads into needle eyes has a loop made from a thin, circular wire of stainless steel and the shanks of the loop inserted into one end of the tube, and located in the end by swaging. Pref. the tube is deformed into a rectangular cross-section and provided at the other end with a point. Tube may be made from stainless steel, or beryllium or phosphor bronze. Needle of flexible and its loop has the required strength.
