<p>The running surface of the long distance ski is level over the greater part of its length and at least over a part of its width. The body of the ski (8) is strengthened by a reinforced section (9, 10) which extends in a longitudinal direction over a part of its length, either side of the centre. The reinforcement (18) consists of a two parallel vertical strips (9, 10) which have a diagonal connection with each other and are embedded into the body. The reinforcement has a V shaped profile and tapers gradually to a point.</p> |
