<p>A linear electric motor operating in an oscillating mode is intended for use with small liquid diaphragm or piston pumps. A permanent magnet (1) is located between pole discs (3, 5). An internal pole piece (6) is concentric with a linear coil carrier (9), with a small separating air gap. The linear coil carrier (9) has a coil (7) embedded in resin and moves vertically when energised. Coil springs (15, 16) restrain the motion.</p> |
