<p>The fixing is used in conjunction with the release bindings for a ski and comprises a flat baseplate with each of the shorter sides flanged upwards. Two holes are provided for attachment to the ski, the space between having a rectangular housing welded onto it. This housing is enclosed, except for the upper part of one long side. Adjacent to this opening is an internal spindle, forming a pivot for a U-shaped stop or hook. This has a hole in its front face and is biased into the outwards position by means of a spring around the internal spindle.</p> |
